There is a reduced fee for small and medium sized companies (SMEs). The 5 steps that ECHA outline here assist in determining company size category for registration. ECHA are currently performing reviews on companies that have claimed SME status for submitted registrations. An incorrect SME status claim can prove very costly as additional charges will apply.
